Personally, I really like tahm kench. I think that his man roll in the game is to be a great lane bully and in teamfights be the tank that peels for your team better than anyone could and cc them to death. I have Been speculating on what youo should build for tahm Kench regarding his aa based gameplay and his natural base damage and tankiness. This is the build I have had the mose success on As ist provides quick passive stacking, cc, and overall Good Tanking. Start off with either a relic shield or crystalline flask Depending on what lane you are positioned in laning phase. Start off getting some early lane focused resistances and sustain as Tahm has really low base armor and magic resist stats. Summoners ghost, flash, barrier, or cleanse work best with tahm. -Ghost helps reduce the unit collision you may occur when moving in a team fight -Flash adds great mobility and esapes/ engages -barrier adds more hp to your e active shield -Cleanse allows you to break free of cc and carry your teammate or allow you to activate your e acive Base Item Build: -Frozen Mallet (tankiness and permaslow) -Zephyr (tenacity for the running in and out of teamifhts with buddies) -Abyssal Scepter Or Frozen Heart ( your abilities will do alot more damage and you help your team out/ less mana problems and taninkess+ aa slow) -Spirit visage (your e passive Will heal for more) -Boots of swiftness (less slow whilst carrying an enemy and mocing through teamfights) -Sunfire Cape Or thornmail (consistent damage and tankiness) This build is focused on what tahms main role is to be: a tank that soaks up as much damage as possible and ferrys his teammates to safetey. Albeit this build lacks in the traditional 4000-4500 hp tank, it gives about a nice 3800-4125 depending on your runes and masteries. I have has some people say to me that it is better to build a nashors tooth and a rylais, but i have thought this over and the nashors tooth lacks tenacity which is a very important stat to have if you are to be able to run around a teamfight carrying poeple in and out of it, and the rylais dosent give a good ammount of health while your q does a pretty big slow and the rylais will have minimal use as your w minion spit is an woe and your ult passive for some reason is only applying the minimal rylais slow. If you have any other better builds for this style of tahm kench or another way o build him for a different roel in a teamfight, please comment and tell me why/how my build can be changed or why a certain item may be better tahtn the other. I AM STILL VERY APPOSED TO HAVING A NASHORS TOOTH INSTEAD OF ZEPHYR IF YOU ARE GOING FOR THIS TYPE OF TAHM KENCH ATTACK SPEED AND TENACITY ARE CORE THINGS TO HAVE WITH THIS CHAMPION, NOT BONUS DAMAGE BASED ON YOUR AP WHICH IS MINIMAL BECAUSE OF YOUR HIGH BASE DAMAGE AND THE FACT THAT YOU NEED TANKIER STATS, NO AP ASSASIN STATS THANK-YOU. thsi is my first post i remember making :)
